Give me justice, O God, and plead my cause against a nation that is faithless. From the deceitful and cunning rescue me, for you, O God, are my strength. (Psalm 43:1-2, Entrance Antiphon for Fifth Sunday of Lent)

St. Mary’s Quilters

You may recall seeing the beautiful quilts displayed at the Quilt booth during St. Mary’s Wild Rice Festival.  Maybe you are even one of the lucky winners of one through the raffle.  Every pattern, stitch and seam is thanks to the countless hours of our Tuesday night Quilting Group.  The Quilters work out of classroom B in the Education Center at St. Mary’s. They have a large closet where they are able to keep their supplies and machines from week to week.

This is a fun, relaxed and devoted group of women.  Don’t be shy if you don’t have much experience with sewing.  To be a quilter, you need to have patience, and these ladies are both patient and helpful.  If you love to sew or have a desire to learn, please consider joining them on Tuesday nights at 7:00 p.m.

Contact Sandy Groschen at 439-6971 or email.  They’d love to hear from you.
