Give me justice, O God, and plead my cause against a nation that is faithless. From the deceitful and cunning rescue me, for you, O God, are my strength. (Psalm 43:1-2, Entrance Antiphon for Fifth Sunday of Lent)

How to Live Out Our Call to Holiness and Mission

St. Michael’s Social Hall

7 – 8 p.m.

July 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29

Everyone is invited to attend a series of talks in July on "How to Live Out Our Call to Holiness and Mission". My name is Anna Wessel and I served this past year as a college campus missionary, ministering to students and young adults in the Archdiocese of Milwaukee. I am pursuing a graduate degree in theology and have extensive training in missionary discipleship. I naturally want to share everything I’ve learned with my beloved home parish community. We will meet Monday evenings in July and the topics will include; living out the call to holiness, the church’s missionary identity, cultivating a deeper prayer life, and practical ways to walk with others in their faith journey. A sneak peak of my first talk (July 1st) will include references from St. Francis DeSales and St. Ignatius, a handout on lectio divina and Ignatian meditation, a guide on being attentive to the promptings of the Holy Spirit, and much much more. I hope many of you can attend! Childcare provided.
