Through The Spirit He Becomes Flesh

As the Easter season comes to a close we as a parish want to go deeper into the tradition and meaning of the Ascension of the Lord and Pentecost. “Through the Spirit He Becomes Flesh” is a series of events and a small effort to help us celebrate and live Pentecost. June 1st we will begin a parish-wide novena to the Holy Spirit, composed by St. Benedicta of the Cross (Edith Stein). Details are below. Then on June 2nd (Ascension) we'll have a talk and presentation on the Ascension and Pentecost. Then on June 9th (Pentecost), five RCIA candidates will be sealed with the Holy Spirit in Confirmation; and lastly, that evening we’ll get together to adore the Blessed Sacrament and sing at our monthly Cor Jesu event.
