Eucharistic Adoration

Eucharistic Adoration

Jesus is truly and fully present in the Blessed Sacrament. St. Michael’s commitment to Eucharistic Adoration arose from Saint John Paul II’s call for all laity to participate in Eucharistic evangelization “so that the whole people of God could develop a personal relationship with Jesus, Our Savior in the Blessed Sacrament.” Saint John Paull II continues, “Perpetual Adoration builds community. The Eucharist is the sacrament of unity, Jesus unifying his people. Through the intimacy of quiet prayer with Jesus, one experiences the personal love of the Savior and grasps the reality that we are all one with the whole Body of Christ.”

Thank you to Father Izen, Father Barnes, and all our faithful community members who are so dedicated to Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration, a “24/7” commitment to never leave our Lord.

Communications
We rely on two main online tools to keep adorers informed of current needs and changes. One is WeAdoreHim, a premier scheduling tool to ensure that Jesus is adored at every Holy Hour of the day. The other tool is Flocknote, our parish-wide means to send emails and text messages.

Until September 25, 2020
For the interim, in-church adoration is located at St. Mary's. Hours are as follows:
Monday - Friday: 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Saturday: Closed
Sunday: Noon to 5:00 p.m.

Thank you to staff and volunteers who made it possible to safely adore Jesus at St. Mary's during these interim months.

On September 27, 2020
Perpetual adoration begins at our St. Michael’s chapel after the Eucharistic Procession on Sunday, September 27. We are thrilled to be moving “home” to adore Jesus 24 hours per day, every day. This year, the procession will be from St. Mary's to St. Michael's. Priests and servers will come out of the church and begin the procession. Parishioners will be waiting outside to join the procession. Vespers and Benediction will be at St. Michael's. Afterwards, adoration will permanently return to the chapel at St. Michael's.

Minimizing Risk
All are welcome to visit the Adoration Chapel. Jesus awaits you. Please follow directions about capacity, sanitizing, and wearing face masks. Thank you!

If you have questions about Adoration, please read our Brochure. For assistance or more information about Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration, please contact Rick and Connie Hill.

O Sacrament Most Holy, O Sacrament Divine.
All praise and all thanksgiving, be every moment Thine.

Join Us in Prayer

O Holy Spirit, Creator, generously help the Catholic Church. By Your supernatural power, strengthen and confirm her against the assaults of the enemy. By Your Love and grace, renew the spirit of Your servants whom You have animated - that, in You, they may glorify also the Father and His only Son, our Lord. Fill us with Your Divine strength and grace to be Your instruments for building up the kingdom through adoration and inflame souls with zeal for adoring Our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament. Amen
