Mass at St. Michael's & St. Mary's
All Masses, Stations of the Cross, studies, events, meetings, and gatherings (including the parish mission) have been cancelled until further notice. The Archdiocesan website has more information on the suspension of Masses and dispensation from the obligation to attend Sunday Mass at this time.
Our parish offices remain open with limited staffing. We encourage parishioners to call the office, use email, or visit our website for information whenever possible.
The Lord still wishes to make His mercy available at this time, and we are committed to maintaining our regular hours to offer the Sacrament of Reconciliation (while still holding to current health recommendations by offering “Drive-Through Confessions” at the Church of Saint Mary. Penitents may enter the church parking lot through the entrance closest to Pine Street, drive their vehicle to the west end, put down their driver-side window, and meet the priest for confession (all from the socially-appropriate distance of 6 feet and the comforts of your vehicle); then continue through the parking lot to exit out the other entrance. Please maintain an appropriate distance in your vehicle if you are the next in line to respect the seal of the confessional.
We appreciate your willingness to explore this creative possibility of helping our parishioners return to the Father’s merciful heart this Lent. Availability of parking lot confessions will follow the current confession schedule – 5 p.m. Mon-Fri, 8 a.m. Sat, 3 p.m. Sat.
